And now for a compliment

In person, I don't take compliments well, but when someone compliments me about my writing, I do gloat a little on the inside. Unfortunately, the ad that generated this one has expired so I can't add it to the blog. In a nutshell, I suggested that if you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair, but if you're going out in Madison, some highlights would look nice. I attached a copy of a picture of Scott McKenzie at the bottom of the ad and received this compliment from Greg: OK, Chris, I’m old enough to remember this when it was a fresh, new hit. Very good FSTB post. I think I’ll pass on the highlights, though. It made me check out Scott McKenzie’s Wikipedia page. Interesting, as most of them are.
